May Day~Beltane: May 1, 2009

Time to Fertilize the Tender Dream Seeds

of the Long Winter's Sleep

as they Rise in Full Awakening

from the Dark Womb of the Earth.

This is the first true day of Summer on the Wheel of the year.
If it is June 21, then why is that day called midsummer? Think.

*

All the world springs forth with new life- the trees are in full bloom,
birds are busily tending to their eggs or hatchlings in their nests, bees
awaken and hungrily search for nectar to produce the honey that
will feed their own hatching broods...

*

"Let me tell you 'bout the birds

and the bees and the flowers and the trees

and the moon up above, and the thing we call love..."

-popular American song

*

The Natural World is Alive and United with a single Purpose: to have sex and make babies (seeds, etc..), so that the Cycles of Life may continue.

*

Each step in the process of Creation needs Care and Attention.

Where is Your Attention?
